The Re (re) launch!
We know we know….”you guys have said that before!” yes, yes we have. BUT we have a great new concept lined up that we think will stick. Here’s the idea. We’re going to go to “mostly” video format. Which is awesome because we’re so pretty. Anyhoo, our new videos will be 3:00 or under and they will be unedited. SO if we’re in the middle of...

Two Please :)
Hello students! Check out this article. Would love to get your thoughts on this? Would you try one? We’d be happy to review it if someone wants to send us a bottle. Don’t think this one is going to make it to TN.

What Would St Patrick Drink????
Well, honestly we don’t have the answer to this question but we do know this. It wouldn’t be GREEN! Happy St. Patricks Day. Drink wisely. Love, Brian & Josh
P.S. If you do see us out and about this evening and we are drinking green beer (Brian is swayed very easily) pinch the crap out of him…er…..us :)

BEER.....for a cause!
So I (Brian) have this friend that home brews. I know I know….big deal…who doesn’t home brew these days?!?! Well, first of all the beer is VERY good, and they “brew good and do good” — please check out our friends at NOEL Brewing
Here’s what makes them stand out besides just really good bee. They’re mission is bigger than beer, I know that may...

Back To School
Students! We’re glad to be back. Summer vacation is over. We want to know what you did this summer……wait…..no we don’t, we just want to know what you drank! Let us know what your favorite beer has been this summer. We’ll pick the first 3 entries (that we haven’t already had) and review them. Because let’s face it, we need the “homework” AND we really like beer ☺ — Also, we’re making a...

How the heck do you pronounce it?
XINGU :: Josh was at Whole Foods with his wife last weekend…buying cupcakes. Yeah…he’s a cupcake guy. Really not sure what else to say about that. To make up for it he grabbed a Make Your Own” 6 pack….insert sarcastic quote from Brian here :: “How buying a 6 pack of beer ‘makes up’ for Josh being a cupcake guy is beyond me” …anyhoo,...

Super Bowl Postgame :: Iron City
What a game! Seriously, one of the best Super Bowls of all time. The only way it could have been better was if the Redskins won (Brian’s team) or the Packers won (Josh’s team). But, both teams sucked this year. Oh well.
Congrats to the Steelers and their crazy fans. In their honor, go enjoy one of these (if you live in Pennsylvania…since it’s not available many other...

Super Bowl 4th Quarter :: Brown Ale
Alright - a little history :: The term “bowl game” was first used for College football games and originated with the Rose Bowl. It was named so because of the bowl shape of the stadium. The term Super Bowl was first used by Kansas City Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt who meant it as a joke calling the Interleague Championship the Super Bowl after watching his kids play with a Super...

Super Bowl Halftime :: Lager
So far, we’ve sampled Beck’s Premier Light and Yuengling Light Lager as our Super Bowl pre-game beer. For kickoff, we kicked it up a notch with Pale Ales…Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Sweetwater 420 Extra Pale Ale and Yazoo Pale Ale. Now it’s time to mellow out while we watch The Boss rock the half-time show. What better way to watch The Boss than to kick back with a classic...

Super Bowl Kickoff - Pale Ales
The Super Bowl is not an excuse for crappy beer. So we’ve decided to highlight some beers that are easy to find in the grocery store but won’t make you sacrifice quality as you watch the biggest game of the year. We got it started yesterday with the pregame show. Light beers will always be the “pregame”, “minor leagues”, “arena league” of beers....

Meeting of the Minds
Happy New Year! ~ Our new blog is live and our new campaign “Strong in ‘09” is in full swing. Well, it’s going to be anyway……we wouldn’t say ‘full swing’ yet but fear not. Anyway, we got together last week to discuss all things beerschool and (of course) to have a brew. We met at one of our favorite ‘after school’ hang outs the...
